We’re installing a product called Acoustiblok® – its ability to block sound exceeds that of 12” poured concrete slab. Low-E glass windows will also keep out noise (and heat).

In the great room (and in this case it really is great), the kitchen is practically invisible, with almost everything hidden behind seamless Ernest Rust cabinetry. There are wonderful Gaggenau appliances (the oven is part work of art). The long kitchen island is topped with natural quartz, an ingenious Kohler Prolific sink, and the Gaggenau Induction cooktop. The baths are havens of Italian tile. And all of it is finished in one of five sophisticated color palettes.
